What do your walls say about your business?

Monday, January 12th, 2009 | Uncategorized | No Comments

How your place of business looks says a lot.

The first place all business owners should start?  The waiting room!

Below are some pictures of two recent commercial projects we completed.  These businesses understood the importance of presenting themselves well to their customers.

One was a large local furniture showroom in the area (one of 3 we completed in the tri-state area). These were large projects involving custom color painting palettes, drywall and trim installation (and a lot of furniture moving).

The other was a local rehabilitation office.  This project involved the removal of existing wallpaper throughout the interior and extensive repair of the walls.  We also installed and stained custom mantles around the exercise area.

We bring the same customer service to commercial projects as we do to residential projects:

  • Flexible scheduling (including nights and weekends): why interrupt your customers?
  • Diverse list of services: painting, customer carpentry, maintenence and handyman services
  • Color and design consulting: we’ve seen hundreds of colors!
  • True professionals: an expert crew you can trust with your workplace.

With our extensive list of services and proven methods we can be your one stop shop for all your workplace maintenece needs.

Call Andy at 610.842.3571 with any questions or to schedule a ten-minute estimate.

Monday, October 13th, 2008 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment

To Anyone Interested in Earning Extra Cash for Doing (almost) Nothing:
Sometime in the next two weeks we will officially introduce our Stirling Referral Rewards Program.

The brochure will explain the reward tiers you fit into based on the number of referrals you give out, the reward rules and most importantly the reward amounts.
Look for the program brochure in your mail sometime in the next two weeks.

BUT! Don’t stop referring us in the meantime! The referrals you give us until then (and gave us in the past) will count toward your total (and make you more money).

Thanks,
Andy Grason

Hey Everybody.

Last call for exteriors!

There are just a couple spots left for exterior work this year.

If you have received an exterior estimate from us and are thinking it over, or if you still need an estimate for any exterior work, let me know ASAP.

Just remember that flaking, peeling or rotting exterior areas can only get worse over the winter months.

15% off exterior projects scheduled in October and early November.

As always, you can reach me at the email address or number below at anytime.

Thanks,

Andy Grason

Welcome to Stirling Painting and Design

Monday, August 11th, 2008 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment

This is Andy Grason with Stirling Painting and Revovations and I am happy to unveil the official Stirling Painting Blog.

Anyway, I am going to use this new technological medium to keep in contact with you on a more consistent basis. I will use the weekly posting to keep you all informed about important company info like:

  • Special deals (10% June through August)
  • Team members’ news (Lisa got an evil kitten)
Calendar updates (exterior schedule is really filling up)

But also about things that have sparked my interest such as:

  • Favorite restaurants (Paolo’s Italian Restaurant in Northampton)
  • Can’t miss movies (go see "There Will Be Blood" if you want to be depressed and sad for at least a week),
  • books (anything by Dave Eggers – except "They Shall Know Our Velocity") and music (listen to Bon Iver)

Or anything else I feel like writing about.

Talk to you all soon,

Andy

Exteriors! Exteriors! Exteriors!

Monday, August 11th, 2008 | Uncategorized | No Comments

Too many times this year I’ve been out to estimates to look at wood that should have been painted or stained years ago. There is lots of flaking paint and rotting wood out there.

And it can usually be prevented. Don’t forget that wood needs to be maintained. While the thought of staining your deck every 2 or 3 years, or getting your some of your wood trim painted every 6 to 8 may not be your favorite way to spend hard-earned money, it actually saves you money in the end.

Even newer homes, with largely wood-free facades, need paint or stain work once in a while (door trim, window trim, garage door trim, decorative dental molding, decks, fences, etc.).

I bet 25% of the people reading this newsletter (I mean e-mail newsletter) have a front door trim piece that is showing some signs of rot. I’d bet the ranch (what does that mean anyway?) that next year at this time it will be a heck of a lot worse.

I can’t tell you how many of those we have replaced!

I guarantee it is cheaper to maintain these wood areas than replace them. Look at it as an investment.

If you are interested in talking to us about how to ensure your place is properly maintained, give us a call. We can come up with a plan so you don’t have to worry about it year after year.

And for larger homes with lots and lots of exterior painting let us come up with a long-term strategy that will help you avoid the dreaded “We Put This Off Way To Long And Are Now Scared To Death Of What It Is Going To Cost Us” estimate. After all, it is better to spend less, less often than more all at once.

I hope that last sentence made sense. Go ahead, read it again.

Anyway, there is still time for exterior work this summer and fall but don’t wait (my number is below).

Stay cool,

Andy Grason
